Implementation of the theses of the Sustainable Development Goals program

Students from all over the world receive language training at the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre - University Education of the Al - Farabi Kazakh National University. Since then, representatives of more than 100 countries have been trained at this department. Foreign students receive language training in their chosen language: Kazakh and/or Russian. In addition, students are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the history and culture of Kazakhstan by taking the appropriate course. Studying at the Department of Language and General Education training for Foreigners, students pursue various goals: some of them later enroll in a bachelor's, master's degree6 PhD in their chosen specialty, others use their knowledge of the language to open or develop a business in our country, and others have chosen Kazakhstan as their place of permanent residence... It should also be noted that the department offers training for students of various levels of training: from elementary to fairly advanced. It is well known that knowledge of languages opens up additional opportunities in the process of finding a decent job. This thesis becomes especially relevant in the light of the development of Kazakhstan in the last decades after independence. Many countries are interested in developing multifaceted cooperation. And, of course, knowledge of Kazakh and Russian languages plays a significant role in the success of international projects.
Today, finding decent jobs for people is a problem that is relevant not only for Kazakhstan. Similar issues are faced by the population of almost all countries. A citizen working in a position corresponding to his level of education, knowledge, and experience is the key to the economic growth of the country as a whole. This is exactly what the eighth thesis of the Sustainable Development Goals, developed by the UN General Assembly as a "plan for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all" is about: "promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all."
Teachers of the Department of Language and General Education training of foreigners, possessing productive methods of teaching Kazakh and Russian as foreign languages, provide an opportunity for everyone to achieve certain success in mastering speech in one academic year. This implements another of the ideas of the Sustainable Development Goals: "ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all."
The department's long - term cooperation with universities from abroad, namely from China, Korea, Japan, Ukraine, and Turkey, also allows us to say that the SDG thesis on "strengthening the means to achieve sustainable development and activating the mechanisms of global partnership for sustainable development" is being progressively implemented by the efforts of language teachers.
In conclusion, the implementation of the SDG program will play a fairly large role in solving global problems of mankind.
