Students of Moscow State University at Al - Farabi Kazakh National University
This year, from March 27 to May 10, 2023, students of the Moscow State Linguistic University, who study the Kazakh language, took an internship at the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners at the Al - Farabi Kazakh National University.
Here is what a 3rd - year student studying the Kazakh language at the Institute of International Relations and Socio - Political Sciences, Shamrai Anna, says: "I am a student of the Moscow State Linguistic University and have been studying the Kazakh language for 2 years. Initially, when I first entered the university, we were not told what language we would study. After studying at the university for one semester, we were finally told that we would learn the Kazakh language. At that moment, the emotions were different. On the one hand, it is an interesting, beautiful and rare language to learn, and on the other hand, the fear that I may be an unclaimed specialist after graduation. Two years later, my fear disappeared, I realized that specialists with knowledge of the Kazakh language are quite in demand in various professions, since there are few of us. I was also lucky enough to have an internship directly in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the city of Almaty. I can say that I really like the city of Almaty for its nature, mountains and climate. Regarding studying at KazNU, the teachers are excellent, they teach the material to us very easily and clearly, I learned a lot about the Kazakh language and am very happy about it. We were very warmly and cordially welcomed by the teaching staff of KazNU and try to help us every day as part of our study of the Kazakh language. It is important to study culture, mentality, language directly in the country itself and we have this opportunity, which we are very happy about.
